A little bummed, but more creative

We are now working on like day 28 of solid rainfall which I love, but not all the problems that go with it.  But, that has left a lot more time to be creative and pump out lots of new and exciting jewlery and some Valentine's Day napkins that are now listed on my site.

If anyone has any thoughts or opinions about my site, or just wants to chat, please let me know.

    Just a start

I moved to Washington from Idaho several years ago, and have found myself out of my element in the weather, although unlike most people I know, I love the rain and the darker weather.  The sun's great too, but to me, there is nothing better than a stormy and rainy day.  And I couldn't have found a better place to raise my two kids.

I am a very creative person who is always looking for an outlet for that creativity.  Be it writing poetry or short stories, singing, or cross-stitching and making jewlery, I always have to be busy in my down-time from being a full-time wife and mom.

I have been cross-stitching and embroidering since I was 8 and was allowed to start a weekend class.  That was 25 yers ago and after all these years of making gifts for family and friends, I decided to clear out my own attic and storage areas.  I started selling online and at craft shows and found that people did still like to purchase items with that hand-made touch.

I made my main focus to offer finished items to give as last minute gifts or even well thought ahead of gifts for any occasion or theme.  Something that is handmade with care and love and will make someone happy.  I am all about having fun while creating so some of my items are off the wall and unique which to me is everything.  And I am always open to suggestions and ideas for new creations so I love to do custom orders.
